Kates Healthtex Line Is Postponed

Good work, Preesi!  Yep - stick a fork in her - you are right!  This bitch is done!  And I might add - that both Zondervan and Amazon have REMOVED all traces of the CROOKBOOK from their sites! 

If you go to Amazon and type "Love is in the Mix" search bar, you get "item unavailable."  Normally, even if a book is not out yet, you can "preorder" through Amazon.  Those imbecilic hypocrites at Zondervan finally figured it out and dumped her ass, too and removed the Crookbook entirely. 

That is a scream about her "designs."  Shipped overseas to get rid of them.  This is the best news I have heard all day!  I am really enjoying watching her downfall.  I admit it.  I just hope the kids are OK. 

When Kate disappears, I hope she takes her rabid fans with her.

I would go to Wal-Mart and buy Healthtex right now . . . if I had a little kid! Good for Wal-Mart. I think we should send them a note of thanks. Lord knows they got enough warnings.

I feel better about shopping at Wal-Mart. I bet Kate is livid about this turn of events.
Someone needs to drive by her house and see if she has started doing the moonwalk in her driveway.

I can't wait until Kate rebounds from this, her clothes do well and she has another best-selling book. Just to give a nice smug laugh to all those out there that think they could cheer over the hard time this family is having.

Kate did not have the time to publicly promote the line before the end of June for The 4th of July Holiday.

According to her, removing the book from Amazon and its publishers website COMPLETELY, and stripping the so called "designers" name off her "designs" and dumping the dresses overseas means they are behind Kate and still are gonna use her in the future! LOL

They knew that dress was seen on national TV and used in marketing, so they couldnt release it to the stores without Kates name, so they dumped it just like they dumped Kate.

End of story...

Oh and I have a DEGREE in Fashion Merchandising.

I think she is fantasizing about a time when "all the dust has settled" and Kate goes back to her previous "glory".

Thank you for that bit of education, Preesi, because the rest of us would simply have been thinking they decided not to go ahead with it.

I too am pleased that your detective work paid off - I had emailed HealthTex since the day I saw the Rachel Ray show....now they are seeing the reality of what she is.

Plus, since in this instance she has defaulted somewhat - do you think she will be required to return any monie$?  Just wondering since I've never been in the fashion 'biz.

I wonder who backed out on whom.  I've got a feeling Healthtex pulled the plug on the deal and that's why Kate was never even scheduled to promote the line.  It's not like she had appearances scheduled and then cancelled them when marriage problems cropped up - there were no appearances announced at all to promote the line other than the little blip on Rachael Ray.  I think Kate was told, thanks, but no thanks - we've changed our mind - possibly back in May?

Dunno, but when she was on Rachel Ray's show (my spouse taped it for me) I immediately emailed their little site and sent a letter.   I'm guessing these big companies have "morality" clauses in their contracts....which is smart since obviously they didn't get the squeeky clean image of J&K they were planning to capitalize on.

I'm not sure where to post this but I had an interesting thought.  Oprah and the Gosselins have had ties ever since they appeared on her show, back in 2007 (I think).  

My question is this:  Why hasn't Kate appeared on the Oprah show?  Ever since the cheating allegations have emerged, it seems like Oprah's show would be a great place for Kate to play her "woe is me, wounded dove" role and to throw Jon under the bus.  

No, she's been on Larry King and the Today Show.  Am I leaving any out?  Could it be that Oprah knows that Kate's behavior is just an act and that's why Kate hasn't appeared on her show.  Very interesting but purely speculation.

Oprah will become the owner of the Discovery Health channel soon. Oprah employs Mark Consuelos.
Mark and Kelly Ripa are trying to start their own Production company which is RUMORED to be trying to develop a Talk Show for Kate...

I have a feeling that Oprah has sunk a LOT of money into the Gosselins and she just wants to back off quietly.

I thought I had heard that the last time she was on Oprah something happened.  It seems I read that even Oprah gave Kate a very funny look and she has not been on since.  I don't watch Oprah anymore but Oprah is a very smart business woman.  Look at her "empire".  She didn't there by being stupid. 
I think Oprah finally saw through Kate Gosselin and decided to wash her hands of her.

What kind of "talk" show would Kate have?  The me, me, me show?  All about the Kate show?  

At this time, Kate Gosslein is NOT marketable.  Thank goodness!

Glad that HealthTex got smart and dumped her line.  Besides, she IS NOT a clothing designer.  No way.  Kate is not a "crafts" person or cook or anything that she wants to think she is.

Maybe all those emails to the sponsors are starting to finally pay off.
